Ready for your close up

I spent some quality time with my ring this afternoon and a macro lens I rented for next week's wedding. I had fun! Can't wait to use it :)

This morning I recieved a lovely little package containing my new lens! It is beautiful and produces such milky, smoothe images. My favorite part is it is from one of my biggest inspirations in photography Tamara Burross. I am thrilled to be going to Florida where I can try this baby out! 6 days... :)

Pretty in pink

My little sister Chelsea turned 9 today! She's just about the cutest person I've ever met... Wise beyond her years! Before she even started 1st grade she asked my mom to get her a tutor because she wanted to learn math.. With the influence of her four older sisters and her mom, she may be a tad more dramatic than she should be. ;) I had to post some photos of the party and give a shout out to my mom because she did such a beautiful job decorating, baking, putting all the details together. If you know my mom, she doesn't get into this... But she had an idea and ran with it-- and it looked awesome! Happy birthday Chelsea, I love you!
